			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Inspired by Dean Frickey&#8217;s A List Apart Article, <a href="http://www.alistapart.com/articles/amoreuseful404">A More Useful 404</a>, I&#8217;ve whipped up the <strong>Useful 404&#8217;s</strong> WordPress Plugin.  This plugin will allow you to set a message and email notification for the 4 main types of 404 errors, namely, mistyped URLS/old bookmarks, internal broken urls, external website broken urls, and search engine broken urls.  You can add your own search engine sites, and set the 404 notice text for your site based on these 4 conditions.  The emails will let you know where a broken url is coming from so you can fix it, and let your users know why the URL was broken and if it was there mistake, they can fix it or find what they were looking for!  The plugin is installed here, feel free to <a href="http://skullbit.com/404test">check it out live</a>.</p>

<p>Alter the output of the wp_list_pages() function&#8217;s HTML.  Add in your own classes, insert text into link title, add additional tags surrounding title.  Parents and Children are set seperately for greater flexibility.</p>
<p>Set default arguments in Settings Panel using `wp_list_pages_plus();` replacement function. Instead of adding commonly used arguments to your `wp_list_pages();` function, you can set these as defaults and update them easily without altering templates.  The `wp_list_pages_plus();` function mirrors the `wp_list_pages();` function exactly and additional arguments may be added directly within the function call, direct arguments will also override default arguments for multiple location use and greater flexibility.  Just edit your `sidebar.php` template (or wherever your Page menu list is output) by changing `wp_list_pages(&#8217;args&#8217;);` to `wp_list_pages_plus();`</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many users of the <a href="http://skullbit.com/wordpress-plugin/register-plus/">Register Plus</a> plugin for WordPress are finding that the notification emails are using the default WordPress notifications rather than their custom ones set in Register Plus.  The reason this occurs is because the user has another plugin installed that is either doing it&#8217;s own override of the WordPress notifications, or worst of all is actually including the WordPress file located in &#8216;wp-includes/pluggable.php&#8217; which causes the entire pluggable library of functions to no longer be pluggable.  I&#8217;d like users to be aware of which plugins conflict with Register Plus, so I will try to keep an up-to-date listing here below.  Please let me know of any other incompatible plugins in the comments and I will add them to the list after verification.</p>
<h3>Conflicting Plugins</h3>
<p>These plugins are also using the pluggable function <strong>wp_new_user_notification();</strong> which cannot be altered more than once.  I will try to incorporate any features these plugins have within Register Plus so you don&#8217;t have sacrifice any functionality.</p>
<ul>
<li>[none]</li>
</ul>
<h3>Bad Form Plugins</h3>
<p>These plugins have included the &#8216;wp-includes/pluggable.php&#8217; file directly, which is bad form and will cause all pluggable functions to be inaccessible to other plugins. Because of this, the function <strong>wp_new_user_notification();</strong> cannot be overridden by Register Plus and all notifications will be WordPress defaults.  These plugins should be fixed by their author to conform to WordPress standards to allow other plugins to function properly.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Events Calendar</strong> ( <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/events-calendar/">Plugin</a> | <a href="http://www.lukehowell.com/events-calendar/">Author</a> )</li>
<li><strong>eshop</strong> ( <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/eshop/">Plugin</a> | <a href="http://www.quirm.net/page.php?id=39">Author</a> )</li>
</ul>
<p>If you are the author of any of the above plugins and have any questions about the conflicts please <a href="http://skullbit.com/contact">send me an email</a> and I would be happy to work with you to get things working together.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I love creating these plugins and getting great feedback on them.  I don&#8217;t do these for profit at all, but I do spend alot of time trying to keep these updated, answering your requests and helping with any issues.  Because of all the time I&#8217;m spending, it would be nice to see a little support back in the form of donations.  I thought my subtle use of donate buttons on the plugins would help encourage this, but apparently not.  Since I started this website I have received only one donation, which I am very grateful for.  I&#8217;m not asking for much, send me a dollar and I will love ya for it.  I get a lot of questions and support demands, and I don&#8217;t mind helping you guys, but please once in awhile return the favor to me.  I&#8217;m helping you enhance your WordPress, why not buy me a beer for it?</p>
<p>Thanks all!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been using the <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/shutter-reloaded/">Shutter Reloaded</a> plugin for WordPress on a client site recently and it works great. However, the client wanted users to be able to print the enlarged images by simply clicking a button. Not being a javascript expert this took me some time, but I&#8217;ve managed to do it and I&#8217;d like to share it with anyone else who is interested and perhaps this could be integrated within the actual plugin if the author so chooses - though I&#8217;m sure he may wish to rewrite it better.  To print, an icon shows beside the close icon and if clicked opens a new window containing the image, resized to fit letter format and the print dialog opens automatically for easy printing.<span id="more-38"></span></p>
<p>Anyway, once you have the plugin downloaded you will need to make 2 modifications to the <strong>shutter-reloaded.js</strong> file, so go ahead and open that up in your favourite editor.</p>
<p>Find the following line around line 113:</p>
<pre>closebtn = this.textBtns ? this.L10n[2] : '&lt;img src="'+this.shImgDir+'close.gif" title="'+this.L10n[2]+'" /&gt;';</pre>
<p>And add the following below so it looks like so:</p>
<pre>closebtn = this.textBtns ? this.L10n[2] : '&lt;img src="'+this.shImgDir+'close.gif" title="'+this.L10n[2]+'" /&gt;';</pre>
<pre>closebtn += '&lt;a href="javascript:Printimg(\''+shutterLinks[ln].link+'\', \''+stripquote(shutterLinks[ln].title)+'\')"&gt;&lt;img src="'+this.shImgDir+'print.png" title="Print Image" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;';</pre>
<p>Then at the very bottom of the file add the following:</p>
<pre>function stripquote(str) {</pre>
<pre>	return str.replace('"', "").replace("'", "");</pre>
<pre>}</pre>
<pre>function Printimg(img,title){</pre>
<pre>	  var oImg = new Image();</pre>
<pre>	  oImg.src = img;</pre>
<pre>	  var max_width = '680';</pre>
<pre>	  var max_height = '790';</pre>
<pre>	  var img_width = oImg.width;</pre>
<pre>	  var img_height = oImg.height;</pre>
<pre>	  if( (img_width / max_width) &gt;= (img_height / max_height) ){</pre>
<pre>		var width = max_width;</pre>
<pre>		var height = ( max_width / img_width ) * img_height;</pre>
<pre>	  } else if ( (img_height / max_height) &gt; (img_width / max_width) ){</pre>
<pre>		var height = max_height;</pre>
<pre>		var width = ( max_height / img_height ) * img_width;</pre>
<pre>	  } else {</pre>
<pre>		var height = img_height;</pre>
<pre>		var width = img_width;</pre>
<pre>	  }</pre>
<pre>	  var win_width = parseFloat(width)+30;</pre>
<pre>	  var win_height = parseFloat(height)+30;</pre>
<pre>	  var disp_setting="toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,menubar=yes,";</pre>
<pre>		  disp_setting+="scrollbars=yes,width="+win_width+", height="+win_height+", left=100, top=25";</pre>
<pre>	  var content_vlue = '&lt;img src="'+img+'" width="'+width+'" height="'+height+'" /&gt;';</pre>
<pre>	  var docprint=window.open("","",disp_setting);</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.open();</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.write('&lt;html&gt;&lt;head&gt;&lt;title&gt;'+stripquote(title)+'&lt;/title&gt;');</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.write('&lt;/head&gt;&lt;body onLoad="self.print()"&gt;&lt;center&gt;');</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.write(content_vlue);</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.write('&lt;/center&gt;&lt;/body&gt;&lt;/html&gt;');</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.document.close();</pre>
<pre>	   docprint.focus();</pre>
<pre>}</pre>
<p>The only think left is to upload this file and the <a href="http://skullbit.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/print.png">print icon</a> (which you&#8217;ll need to put in the menu folder for the plugin) and you should have print capabilites!</p>

Includes a simple captcha easy enough for real humans to read as well as the ability to add a <a href="http://recaptcha.net/">reCAPTCHA</a>.</p>
<p><strong>User Moderation</strong> Need absolute control? Check out every new user yourself and hand pick who can stay and who gets the boot before they are able to login to your site. (Manage under Users &gt; Unverified Users)</p>
<p><strong>Profile Fields</strong> Want more done sooner? Have new users fill out there entire profile or just bits you need all during registration, you can even make them required.</p>
<p><strong>User Defined Fields</strong> Not enough info yet? Add your own defined fields to the registration page for users to fill out. It also adds the new fields to the profile page as well so current users can add their own info and update as needed.</p>
<p><strong>Duplicate Email Registration</strong> Got multiple users using the same email address? Easily solve this predicament without forcing them to sign up with unneeded email accounts. Also useful for administrators to create another account with one email address.</p>
<p><strong>Customized Admin &amp; User Registration Email</strong> Tired of the same old emails when someone new registers? Spice it up with your own From/Reply-To address, customized subject and customize the entire message! You can even disable those tiresome Admin notifications for new registrations.</p>
